Performance & Recovery Course
Discover the TBRx method for peak performance and optimal recovery. This comprehensive course will guide you through the key principles of the TBRx approach and allow you to apply the TBRx methods to your daily practice. By the end of the entire course you should be able to:
  • Identify the TBRx Method and the treatment used to deliver it
  • Describe the components of the treatment including pliability, hydration, nutrition, functional strength & conditioning, and cognitive fitness
  • Explain what pliability means and how we utilize it in client care
  • Describe how each component of the treatment relates to the other components and overall performance and recovery
  • Recognize how the TBRx treatment will improve client outcomes

Module 1: Pliability
Pliability is the core component of the TBRx Method. This module will describe in detail the concept of pliability and how it underpins overall performance and recovery. Pliability will be physiologically defined through evidence-based practice. The module will describe how pliability training is utilized within the treatment. This module will establish the connection between pliability and the remaining four components: hydration, nutrition, functional strength & conditioning, and cognitive fitness.

Learn about the critical role of hydration in performance and recovery. Understand the key principles of proper hydration for optimal health, performance and recovery. Module 3: Nutrition
This module covers the essential nutrition principles of the TBRx method, including how nutrition is integrated into the overall treatment approach. You will understand: the link between proper nutrition and overall performance and recovery; how following proper nutrition influences the improvement of health; detail the essential components (micro, macro) of proper nutrition; and establish the guidelines for proper nutrition relative to the TBRx approach i.e, plant-based eating, seasonal eating, and avoiding pro-inflammatory foods. Module 4: Functional Strength & Conditioning
Discover the TBRx approach to functional strength and conditioning, designed to help you unlock your full potential. Identify the connection between proper functional strength & conditioning and overall performance and recovery. Understand how proper functional strength & conditioning drives and reinforces structural and functional adaptations of tissue.
